Vans joins forces with multiple Grammy Award winning band, Metallica for an exclusive collection of footwear, apparel and accessories as Rock and Roll as the band itself. The latest instalment from the Vans x Metallica partnership marks their third collaboration together. The newly designed Metallica logo is featured on the heavy metal spin on the classic Vans silhouettes this time around. The Sk8-Hi is created in an full grain leather upper and tonal deco-stitching Sidestripe with the logo wrapped around the sidewall and quarter panels. An all-over logo print is placed across the vamp of the Classic Slip-On while the Metallica logo is engraved on the sidewalls of the shoe.

Formed in 1981 by drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist and vocalist James Hetfield, Metallica has become one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history. Its iconic logo and music from the band has made waves in street culture ever since. The release pays homage to the band's most recent album in 2016, Hardwired...To Self Destruct, which debuted at No. 1 around the world, garnering its Grammy wins for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song.
