Alex Maeland Presents "Flower" at McNamara Art Projects
Photographer Alex Maeland debuts his new photography exhibition titled "Flower." The artist explores the beauty and perceptions around cannabis and other botanicals via his imprint MAEKAN. Splitting his time between Hong Kong and LA, his work shares a dialogue that is relatable to both cities.
In collaboration with Ariel Stark-Benz of Mister Green, Alex Maeland presents the concepts of change and growth through the still life of various species of flowers and the culture surrounding it. The photo exhibition also features a limited tote bag and set of t-shirts designed with Chinatown Market.
Here's a peek into the opening on March 3rd, 2018. Catch it in the next two weeks if you're in town from March 3-16 at McNamara Art Projects in Hong Kong.
