Donnie Yen Stars in CLOT x Nike’s “ROSE GOLD SILK” Air Force 1 Campaign Directed by Wing Shya
CLOT once again taps world-renowned action star and actor Donnie Yen (Ip Man series, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) for its newest campaign showcasing the third Air Force 1 in CLOT’s recent trifecta of Silk-adorned collaborations with Nike. In a video conceived by CLOT co-founder Edison Chen and directed by famed director and photographer Wing Shya (Hot Summer Days, Love in Space), the CLOT x Nike “ROSE GOLD SILK” Air Force 1 aims to represent the fluidity and movement of a martial artist who has mastered multiple crafts through true understanding of inner peace. Through impressive tai chi moves, the “ROSE GOLD SILK” Air Force 1s mark the final step of a mission following last year’s “ROYALE UNIVERSITY BLUE SILK” and “BLACK SILK” Air Force 1s.
From the very first “1WORLD” CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 in 2009, 2018’s “SILK” Air Force 1 to 2019’s “ROYALE UNIVERSITY BLUE SILK” Air Force 1 and “BLACK SILK” Air Force 1, the “ROSE GOLD SILK” Air Force 1 marks the fifth AF1 in CLOT and Nike’s long-standing partnership. Representing the “ALL FOR 1” message to the community, these shoes aim to let the world know that beauty can be found internally and externally through the peel-off CLOT Royale Silk layer found on the outer layer of each shoe.
