For the first time ever, CLOT and Jordan Brand are joining forces on a collaborative lifestyle release featuring an all-encompassing footwear dubbed the CLOT x AIR JORDAN DELTA 2.

“I thought working on this silhouette would be a nice break from doing performance-related sneakers, especially with the Jordan brand. A lot of people are buying sneakers and leaving them at home. I want to make a sneaker that people use,” shares CLOT Founder and Creative Director Edison Chen. “You can wear it and do whatever you want.”

Paying tribute to the Air Jordan 13—one of Chen’s favorite Jordan silhouettes, the CLOT x AIR JORDAN DELTA 2 is a mashup of the AJ13 “Flint” and the original Delta 2, deconstructed and pieced together to form an all-new futuristic creation that offer nods to the past, present and the future.

“I think being able to look to the past but translate that into something new, and not having it being a literal copy is very important,” says Chen. “For me, respect used to go only one way to the elders, but now in a digital age, there has to be mutual respect because we know things that they don’t. We need to recognize both to understand exactly what is happening in the world.”

As a result, the CLOT x AIR JORDAN DELTA 2 contains recognizable features drawn from the “Flint”, including the white, navy, flint gray colorway and reflective mesh dimpled upper, topped with embroidered CLOT spellouts signature to Delta 2. White leather is used on the toe, eyestay, tongue and heel, complemented by University Blue accents on co-branded logos on the tongue and the heel tab. Mudguard and nubuck heel, meanwhile, appear in gray tones, with the number ‘23’ adorning the prior. The color extends towards the sole unit, featuring a cushy React foam midsole with white segments on high-wear zones for a futuristic appeal. Extra highlights include a CLOT-branded hangtag donning the iconic AJ13 hologram, found tied to the shoe with a red string for a traditional Chinese-inspired spin.

Dropping alongside the CLOT x AIR JORDAN DELTA 2 is a capsule apparel collection. Ranging from jacket to pants and a beanie, the three-piece capsule comes with matching designs for a complete look.
