Building upon key aspects of the classic silhouette, the CLOT NEIGHBORHOOD ADIDAS SUPERSTAR BY EDISON CHEN elevates the original sneaker to a whole new level.

Through Edison Chen and Neighborhood’s combined creative vision, almost every detail of the CLOT NEIGHBORHOOD ADIDAS SUPERSTAR BY EDISON CHEN has been thoughtfully enriched with unique shapes, materials, and textures for a distinct new look.

One of the most striking elements of the new CLOT NEIGHBORHOOD ADIDAS SUPERSTAR BY EDISON CHEN is the rigid angular outsole. Whilst the original sneaker is known for its classic shape and smooth contours, this new silhouette disrupts the norm with its sharp jagged, cream sole. Through this change, the sneaker takes on a more contemporary aesthetic that commands visual attention.

Originally developed as a basketball sneaker, the Superstar is defined by its recognizable rubber shell toe cap. However, Edison Chen, CLOT and NEIGHBORHOOD’s rendition reinterprets this design by implementing plush black suede on the toe box whilst a dissected section of the classic toe cap is adorned on the front. This stylistic detail redefines the profile of the shoe but still encapsulates the essence of the original design. In addition, The toe cap itself is treated with distressed detailing for a vintage-inspired finish.

Adding unique texture to the upper, The CLOT NEIGHBORHOOD ADIDAS SUPERSTAR BY EDISON CHEN swaps out the standard leather construction for a thin layer of black mesh. Instead of leather panels, the iconic three stripes are stitched into the material in a tasteful zig-zag pattern for a clean and minimalist look. Alongside the adidas stripes and on the black suede heels of each sneaker, NEIGHBORHOOD and Chinese CLOT branding is printed in crisp contrasting white. Also adorned on each sneaker are CLOT and NEIGHBORHOOD logos, firmly cementing each brand’s identity into the shoe.
