CLOT and SEIKO Collab For a New Iteration of the Iconic SEIKO 5 SPORTS WATCH
For all the horology lovers, CLOT has collaborated with Japanese brand Seiko for a limited edition SEIKO 5 SPORTS WATCH. Dropping in a black brushed finish with contrasting CLOT red accents, this exclusive timepiece is designed to be the perfect companion for those looking to seize the moment. While time flows uninterrupted like water in a river, it is how one makes use of the streaming moments that matter.
Contrasting against the unidirectional rotating bezel and black sunburst dial are striking red accents. The hour and minute markers of the bezel as well as the counterbalanced second hand are finished in bright crimson whilst the CLOT logo is adorned at 6 o’clock and on the clear case back. In addition, a day-date window sits at 3 o’clock with an interchangeable English and Chinese day display. For an extra touch of character, the Hardlex crystal has been treated with a half-mirror coating, which gleams with a red tint depending on the viewing angle. The watch features a triple-folding clasp with the Seiko and CLOT logos lasered into its surface for extra security. The watch also features SEIKO’s 4R36 caliber automatic movement with 41 hours of power reserve as well as 100 meters of water resistance.
Born in the 60s, the SEIKO 5 was the first automatic day-date watch for SEIKO and Japan. The “5” in the name signals the promise of always having five key features. These include an automatic movement, a day-date display, water resistance, a recessed crown at 4 o’clock, and last but not least, a case and bracelet built for durability.
To commemorate our first collaboration with Seiko, each CLOT x SEIKO 5 SPORTS WATCH will come in a specially designed box featuring sumptuous textures and a shimmering co-branded motif for an elevated touch.
HOW TO BUY
The CLOT x SEIKO 5 SPORTS WATCH is scheduled to release on October 10, 2023, at select JUICE locations worldwide, online, and the CLOT20 RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBITION.
Fans in Shanghai can either purchase first come, first served on October 10 or enter a raffle from October 6 to October 8 on CLOT Official Weibo for a chance to purchase the CLOT x SEIKO 5 SPORTS WATCH and join a meet and greet at the CLOT20 RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBITION on October 10.
