Teaming up once more for 2018, Hong Kong-based creative studio AllRightsReserved and globally-famed artist KAWS present a new illuminating statue of his iconic BFF character, first seen as an installation in Bangkok in 2016. Last month, a plush version of BFF appeared alongside COMPANION in celebration of the KAWS:SEEING/WATCHING permanent art piece in Changsha, China.

Aptly named “SEEING”, the blue figurine is made from alloy and ceramic and features LED-wired eyes that activate when touched. Perched atop a white cubic pedestal, each edition will bear KAWS’ handwritten signature. The vinyl toy, valued at US$12,000, will be limited to a sparse individually-numbered 250 pieces.
