As the FW21 season kicks in, new seasonal creations from our favourite brands are gradually arriving at our stores across the globe and online. Scroll down to see the exciting new-ins we have been busy welcoming in the past week.
AWAKE NY
Taking inspirations from musicians from The Style Council to Bad Brains, as well as Jay Electronica's A Written Testimony and Main Source’s Live at the Barbeque, Creative Director Angelo Baque is presenting a vibrantly-coloured, pattern-filled collection for the FW21 season.
Our curated AWAKE NY selections comprises casual pieces such as hoodies and sweatshirts embroidered with the AWAKE name against bold colourways of black and blue, with an additional cheetah-print version in muted green for a playful touch. Paisley-printed t-shirts in purple and black are ready for your layering needs. Knitwear offerings, meanwhile, include mohair sweater and cardigans in check patterns and stripe trims for a more put-together vibe.

#FR2
Apart from the recent crossover collection with CLOT, FxxkingRabbits’ FW21 offerings have also landed at JUICE. The range includes caps and hoodies slammed with the brand’s iconic "Smoking Kills" logo front and back, and another version with added graphics depicting the angel of death for a heightened message. The slogan top also appeared on a Leica-wielding rabbit printed on a 'Mad Bunny' t-shirt, for a tongue-in-cheek vibe that is signature to the Japanese label. Learn more about the story behind the brand from a previous interview we did with #FR2 founder Ryo Ishikawa.

WACKO MARIA
Taking inspirations from music, film and art, Tokyo label WACKO MARIA offered their nods to Anthony Hopkins' Hannibal, 2007 teen comedy Superbad and the great Bob Dylan in its FW21 collection. The result is an eclectic collection filled with a playful diversity of patterns and prints from spider web to python, leopard and tiger. Highlights include a reversible black/leopard print fleece jacket with blue text “WILD BUNCH” at the chest, a Hawaiian shirt with multicolour spider web print and a dark turquoise mohair cardigan in leopard print.
The range is currently available at JUICE Central and online at JUICESTORE.COM.
Children of the Discordance
Upcycled materials continue to run through the latest collection at Children of the Discordance. Naming his FW21 collection, "dawn", Hideaki Shikama takes us back to the ‘80s using patchworked vintage-infused fabrics and vintage denim from the era, complemented by hand-dyed cotton sourced from archival pieces from mid-’90s. The result? A beautiful collection that aims to serve as an affirmation to all that we will come out of the pandemic better and stronger.
