Kendrick Lamar Steals the Show at the Grammys
So the post 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards buzz is still in the air and Kendrick Lamar took the whole show by storm on January 28, 2018. The show took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City and was hosted by James Corden. Aside from the outfits of the top artists of the year, the show was really about who absolutely killed it in 2017. And to sum up, Kendrick Lamar did, collectively with his performance at the show and with his wins. Major wins for Bruno Mars too taking home Album, Record and Song Of The Year, the politically-charged performance from Kendrick Lamar was undoubtedly the most memorable from Sunday night.

Opening the show with the US flag projected and an army of dancers, Kendrick featured a medley from "XXX" performed with a little help from U2. The performance followed on with "DNA" from his album "DAMN" and his latest release of "King's Dead". Comedian Dave Chapelle came and reminded the audience that "The only thing more frightening than watching a black man be honest in America, is being an honest black man in America."
Kendrick Lamar wore a Raf Simons S/S '02 hoodie with AW '05 pants and a jacket from Craig Green S/S '15. Thanks to Highsnobiety's intel on his outfit you can try your best to imitate his look even without being the star of the Grammys. Kendrick Lamar took home Best Music Video, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance all for the conversation-starting "HUMBLE" and also won Rap Album of the Year for "DAMN" and Best Rap/Sung Performance for "LOYALTY".
