Virginia-based brand Vandy The Pink has cultivated a large online following for its tasteful custom bootleg sneakers and frequent use of high-fashion designer monograms. Established in 2017, founder and creative director Junghoon Son started off with a passion for customizing sneakers and clothing. This gray cotton tee implements Vandy’s cartoon fast food designs as well as the brand’s recognizable double flower eye signature, presented as a parodic take on a classic aspect of Louis Vuitton’s monogram. Printed underneath the design is the brand name “VANDY THE PINK” in an iconic fast food color combination of yellow and red for a 3D effect.

Another eye-catching piece in the collection is the Vandy The Pink Proboard skate sneakers. This new original design once again pulls from the brand’s fast food theme for a burger-inspired colorway. The sneaker is made up of white leather and brown suede panels. To complete the burger look, hits of green are found on the sock liner and tongue whilst the outsole is colored in a bright red. Vandy The Pink branding is also uniquely embedded into the outsole of the sneaker.
