In anticipation to the launch of the CLOT x AIR JORDAN “JADE 5 LOW”, CLOT announces the opening of a month-long JADE POP-UP set to provide us all with a fun and immersive journey into the world of jade. The special pop-up shall kick-start in Hong Kong's Tai Kwun from 7 May 2022, followed by cities from Guangzhou to Chengdu and Hawaii. 

From 7 May 2022 through 31 May 2022, the first-floor location at Hong Kong's Tai Kwun shall be transformed into an antique jade store imbued with age-old Chinese opulence. Visitors are invited to discover the “JADE 5 LOW”-inspired elements that linger at very corner, from the co-branded pattern on wallpapers and retro wood screens, to the jade-crafted mah-jong and chess sets.

Situated at the very center of the space is a portal that will transport you into the deep on a search for the finest jade. Found sitting in the dark atop a newly discovered jade boulder, visitors are welcomed to marvel at the luminescent details of the CLOT x AIR JORDAN “JADE 5 LOW”—design features celebrating the translucent beauty of the jade.

The CLOT x AIR JORDAN “JADE 5 LOW” and the CLOT x AIR JORDAN capsule collection are scheduled to launch on 14 May 2022 at select JUICE locations worldwide and online. Visitors at the JADE POP-UP will be able to enjoy early access to raffle registration, follow our social media channels for further updates on raffle details.

Other than showcases, the CLOT x AIR JORDAN JADE POP-UP at Tai Kwun will also be playing host to three different weekend workshops. From creating charming beading necklaces, to making elegant resin trinket boxes, and carving traditional Chinese calligraphy seals, these workshops shall offer visitors a fun experience playing with the different ideas of incorporating jade into modern life.

With a name derived from the Cantonese pronunciation of “beads”, Jüü Jüü is a feel-good beading jewelry brand founded by Judy Lacy that promotes self-expression and positive manifestations. At this workshop, participants will be able to make their own charming necklace with silver chains, jade-tone beads, oyster pearls and more. Join to learn all about the basics of stringing beads including the use of beading tools, different choices of beading wires and jewelry finds, as well as proper finishing techniques.

Salty Cloud specializes in creating elegant resin tabletop homeware for workshops including coasters, flower bottles and more. At this workshop, participants will each create a trinket box featuring jade tones and a marbling effect reminiscent of colors and patterns on the natural jade stones.

Founded by calligraphy artist Lam Chi, Bin Shu Lab was established with a mission to promote Chinese art and culture. Participants at this workshop will have the opportunity to learn and carve their personalized traditional Chinese calligraphy seals.
