A-COLD-WALL* comes back yet again with another capsule that further encapsulates the essence of tech-wear. Debuting in their Spring Summer 2020 runway collection at London Fashion Week, featuring the brand’s technically-unique takes on the iconic ERX and All-Star Chuck Taylor Lugged silhouettes, strong matching tracksuit tops & bottoms and a muted handbag to match. Ross’ full intention with this capsule was to supplement and further propel ACW* in tech-style fashion. 

The off-balanced detailing of the pieces, choice of faint color palettes, and unique superior design make the pieces from this collection stand out. The choice of the iconic models ERX and All-Star Chuck Taylor Lugged was a no brainer as the shoes perfectly encapsulated the brand ethos of ACW*. 

Ross’ take on the All-Star Chuck Taylor Lugged verges on the line of boot and shoe, both shoes have the logo’s of each brand engraved on each side of the shoes. The classic Converse logo on the inside and ACW*’s logo on the outside of the silhouette. The shoe’s color palette features muted colors of warm white on the large midsole and dim grey on the unique material upper. The ERX features a suede upper build, with a white & transparent blue midsole, and a mixed style of lacing using laces and a strap.

The two tracksuits finalize the collection, featuring a more unsymmetrical version in colors of muted pink, black, beige and cream, with matching track pants which can be transformed into shorts. The other tracksuit features a more clean-cut version and utilizes colors of softened yellow and cream. The handbag completes the look using palettes of beige and cream colors, and a unique stitching design similar to the uppers of the All-Star Chuck Taylor Lugged.
