EDISON CHEN AND HIROSHI FUJIWARA CELEBRATE #CLOT20 WITH THE CLOT X FRAGMENT DESIGN X NIKE DUNK
In celebration of CLOT's 20th anniversary, Founder and Creative Director Edison Chen and long-time collaborator and friend Hiroshi Fujiwara have teamed up with Nike to produce a new collaboration sneaker: the CLOT X FRAGMENT DESIGN X NIKE DUNK.
Inspired by Hiroshi Fujiwara's favorite CLOT shoe of the last two decades—the CLOT x Nike Silk Air Force 1, also known as the "White Silk" from 2018—the CLOT X FRAGMENT DESIGN X NIKE DUNK features an all-white silk upper patterned with CLOT's iconic Silk Royale, set on a opaque sole for a clean look. The tongue, lace stay, and branding on heel tab are rendered in black, resulting in the striking black and white colorway inspired by pandas, which Fujiwara fondly recalled visiting with Chen at the Chengdu reservation. The insole, meanwhile, features the CLOT20 logo, marking this a special release. Each pair of CLOT X FRAGMENT DESIGN X NIKE DUNK comes with black and blue laces for styling purposes.
As with the previous Silk series collaboration between CLOT and Nike, the CLOT X FRAGMENT DESIGN X NIKE DUNK’s upper features a removable top layer with hidden details underneath. This pioneering tear-away concept, which began with ‘1World’ in 2009, is a nod to CLOT's philosophy of going beyond the surface and discovering deeper layers of meaning.
“Contrary to what some may think, our conversations rarely revolve around work. Most of the projects that come from me and Hiroshi, they're very organic. This project is very rare. I think we trust each other enough that we have a level of standard, and it just moves,” shared Chen.
“It’s never really a collaboration, it’s a conversation,” added Fujiwara. “We don't have any middle person, even when we do Nike. Just me and him, that’s really easy.”

The CLOT X FRAGMENT DESIGN X NIKE DUNK will be available for purchase by raffle winners on May 19, 2023, at select JUICE selling doors worldwide. Raffle details will be revealed at a later date.
