Losing our Breath over Beyoncé’s Coachella Performance
The first weekend of Coachella was bigger than ever with a star studded headlining set from Beyoncé, featuring appearances from Solange, JAY-Z, and Destiny's Child members Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Expectations ran high but Queen B stole the show and fans around the world as the first female black artist to headline the annual festival.
Styled in Balmain, Bey started the outstanding two hour set with "Crazy in Love" with a New-Orleans style marching band behind. The setlist included songs from her album Lemonade and a duet performance of "Deja Vu" with JAY-Z and a dance off with sister Solange to "Get me Bodied." The Destiny's Child reunion topped it off with 90s hits "Say My Name," "Soldier" and "Lose My Breath." The act by Beyonce took social media by storm, with fans renaming the weekend as #Beychella.
