Nike and atmos Team Up For the Air Max "Curry" Pack

Last year, Nike re-released the Air Max 1 atmos "Elephant” after the colorway was voted as the winner of Nike’s Vote Back campaign in 2016. Then in March of this year for Air Max Day, Nike released the “Animal Pack 2.0,” which included slightly updated versions of the Air Max 1 and the Air Max 95 that atmos originally designed in 2006. The train’s not stopping there though. Throughout the month of May, Nike is scheduled to release retro and reinvented versions of classic Air Max models designed by the Tokyo-based streetwear boutique.

For our first course, Nike is reintroducing the Air Max 1 “Curry” on Thursday 10 May. This is the first time it’s been re-released since the OG version dropped in 2003, with 2018 being the pair’s 15th anniversary. The vintage edition has always been in high demand and fetches a pretty penny on the resale market, so now’s your chance to cop this legendary sneaker.

To build off of the OG "Curry" colorway, atmos and Nike will also be releasing two similar, but new, iterations of the Air Max 1. The “Green Curry” and the “Red Curry” styles will both drop on Saturday May 12. Both models boast premium materials such as suede, nubuck, and nylon mesh, sitting atop white midsoles and black outsoles. The "Red Curry" blends with a tan Swoosh, toe box, tongue, and laces; whereas the "Green Curry" combines gray in the same areas, with red accents on the tongue tag and top-most eyelets.

Don’t sleep on the opportunity to add these to your collection. All models will be available this week at select JUICE stores and online here at CLOT.com so stay tuned.
