RECAP: A DETAILED LOOK INSIDE THE JUICE USA X CLOT HAWAII POP-UP

JUICE USA has ventured even further out for its international takeover by debuting its first ever pop-up experience on the sunny island of Oahu, Hawaii. Opening its doors on Saturday 25th July, the two-week event marks the second North American location for the streetwear retailer, following the recent grand opening of the Los Angeles location earlier this month.

Situated within Oahu’s Honolulu, as per usual, the event gathered a long line of shoppers who were anticipating the event—a first for the archipelago. Bringing in both Hawaiian natives and travelers from all over, the pop-up offered a range of special products such as the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "K.O.D." Cha, CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 "K.O.D." Solar Red, CLOT x Converse Chuck 70 Hi and Ox, CLOT x Yeenjoy Incense Chamber, CLOT x Kangol, CLOT x Polo Ralph Lauren and CLOT x Dr. Martens, as well as coveted pieces from a curated list of international brands

To commemorate the Hawaii debut, JUICE also offered limited-edition CLOT T-Shirts with designs inspired by Hawaii’s local culture. The cherry on the kakigori, however, was the range of local brands and vendors who were invited to join in on the pop-up, including Live HaynPiggy SmallsHale'iwa BowlsWaiola LifeRay's Kiawe Chicken and an exclusive artwork piece by Pancho Abalos.

Hawaii has always held a soft spot for JUICE’s Edison Chen, who has always championed the notion of bringing cultures together to share in their unique strengths. The JUICE Hawaii 808 pop-up was a direct representation of this as it brought in a mix of sneaker- and streetwear-heads, locals, tourists, artists and athletes from a wide mix of nationalities; a sign of inclusivity—not exclusivity. With future plans to return to the islands, we hope that Hawaii can see JUICE as part of its Ohana!
